SUMMARY

Results of selection and cultivation technique building of the potted Anthurium flowers Anthurium flowers are beautiful, luxurious and varied in color and shape of the flower. The potted flowers are used as ornamental crops in the house, parks, gardens and provide a major economic resource for flower production. Among the cultivars testing in Vietnam, we selected two cultivars: Alabama and Champion that had a good growth and development capacities, high yield and quality flowers. These two cultivars were planted in Hai dương, Quang Ninh and Sơn La provinces. The results also have shown in a good growth and adaption with the ecological conditions of the regions. With reducing the light intensity cover 70%, the survival rate of plants and quality flowers will be the highest. The suitable medium for Anthurium is to half of coconut fibre + 1/4 burning-husk, 1/4 muck. Using of NPK fertilizer with a 20-20-15 + Te rate; B1 and Atonik will be a best growth and development of plants.
